PDEA nabs 2 alleged drug peddlers in QC, Cavite

MANILA, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on Sunday arrested two suspected drug peddlers in two separate buy-bust operations in Quezon City and Cavite.
According to PDEA, the first buy-bust operation was conducted in Banawe, Quezon City at 10:30 a.m. with the arrested suspect identified as Cai Jia Zhu also known as “Anson Chua,” 41 years old.
Arresting officers seized 40 kilograms of suspected shabu worth P272 million, along with other drug paraphernalia.
An hour later at 11:30 a.m, another suspect identified as Hai Lin, 41 years old, was arrested in a drug operation in Santa Catalina, Molino-Paliparan road, Dasmariñas, Cavite.
PDEA agents seized from the arrested suspect 260 kilos worth of shabu worth over P1.496 billion.
