Suspected drug pusher collared in Leyte buy-bust ops

ORMOC CITY — Authorities arrested a suspected drug pusher who was in possession of P125,000 worth of illegal drugs during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Nalibunan, Abuyog, Leyte on Thursday.
Police said suspect Oscar Gecera, 50, did not resist arrest when caught by Abuyog Police operatives at 6:36 p.m. on Thursday, but he denied keeping the illegal drugs.
Charges for violating Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 were being prepared by the arresting officers against the suspect who is temporarily detained at the Abuyog Municipal Police Station.
