DOH: QC, Pasig, Marikina, San Juan, Pateros under moderate risk for COVID-19
MANILA, Philippines — Four cities and one municipality in Metro Manila are now under moderate risk for COVID-19, Department of Health (DOH) spokesperson and Undersecretary Maria Rosario Vergeire said on Saturday.
“Here in the National Capital Region, we have five areas under moderate risk classification,” Vergeire said in a public briefing.
”This five areas would be Pasig, Quezon City, San Juan, Marikina and Pateros,” she added.
The other cities in Metro Manila are still classified as low-risk.
The health department has explained that for a region to be classified under moderate risk, it should have a positive two-week growth rate (TWGR) and average daily attack rate (ADAR) of at least 6 average cases per day for every 100,000 individuals.
