Drug suspect nabbed, over P3.4 M shabu seized in Naga City buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY — Police arrested a drug suspect and seized an estimated P3.4 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust operation in Naga City Friday night.
Police Master Sergeant Tobias Bongon, Naga City police spokesperson, said Cherylle Eleria, 46, was arrested in Barangay (village) Bagumbayan Sur at around 9:45 p.m.
Bongon said an undercover agent bought five grams of shabu worth P34,000 from Eleria.
After the arrest, the anti-narcotics team also recovered a plastic bag with 500 grams of shabu worth an estimated P3,400,000 and another two sachets or one gram worth P6,800.
The suspect is facong a formal complaint for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
