Two drug suspects with P44K shabu busted in Antipolo City in separate operations

LUCENA CITY – Two drug suspects who yielded a collective amount of P44,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) were arrested in Antipolo City on Wednesday and Thursday.

Calabarzon (Cavite, Laguna, Batangas, Rizal, Quezon) Police, in a report, identified the suspects as Jomar Reynado and Argie Malibago.

Anti-illegal drug operatives collared Malibago in a buy-bust operation around 1:55 a.m. Thursday in Barangay (village) Dela Paz.

Authorities seized five plastic sachets of shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P23,800.

Earlier, local police drug enforcement unit members also arrested Reynado in another sting operation in Barangay Cupang around 11:45 p.m. on Wednesday.

Authorities found the suspect with six sachets of meth with an estimated DDB value of P20,400.

The suspects are now facing charges for violation of Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
