MANILA, Philippines — For now, there is no wage increase yet for domestic workers in Metro Manila, Calabarzon, and SOCCSKSARGEN, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said on Wednesday.

DOLE said this is because the Regional Tripartite Wages and Productivity Boards of the said areas are still conducting public hearings.

“The wage boards in the National Capital Region, Calabarzon, and SOCCSKSARGEN, however, are yet to issue their respective wage orders for domestic workers as they are still conducting public hearings,” the DOLE said in a statement.
