MANILA, Philippines — Private hospitals whose health workers are having problems getting their One COVID-19 Allowance (OCA) may coordinate with the Centers for Health Development for the fast distribution of the benefits, the Department of Health (DOH) said.

The OCA has an allocation of P50 billion in the 2022 budget, but only P7.9 billion has been approved. The DOH said it had released P86.5 million in OCA to 54 health facilities since January.
