CITY OF CALAPAN, Oriental Mindoro – A drug den was dismantled by anti-drug operatives and police on Sunday, June 12, in Pinamalayan town in Oriental Mindoro province, according to a report from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) Mimaropa (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan).
The report added that Zaldy Avenchuela and Catherine Villar, the alleged maintainers of the drug den, and “drug den visitors” Jason Delacion and Nomer Selda were also arrested during the buy-bust.
PDEA said the bust happened at 1:20 a.m. in Sitio (sub-village) Dalampasigan West in Barangay (village) Pili.
Confiscated during the operation were about 10 grams of suspected shabu (crystal meth) valued at P80,000 and drug paraphernalia.
The suspects will be facing complaints for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
