2 nabbed in Oriental Mindoro drug buy-bust

CITY OF CALAPAN––Police arrested two people during a buy-bust operation on Sunday, March 20, in Pinamalayan town, Oriental Mindoro province, according to the police in Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon, Palawan (Mimaropa).
The suspects were identified as live-in partners Elena Patisucan, 47, a provincial level high-value individual; and Gerardo Romero, 54, who allegedly sold at 12:50 p.m. two sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) to an undercover agent in Barangay Cacawan.
Also seized from the suspects were four sachets of shabu weighing 3.79 grams and valued at P18,950.
The suspects, both from Pinamalayan, were placed in police custody and will face charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
