Active COVID-19 cases in Bulacan drop to 35

CITY OF MALOLOS, Bulacan––The number of active COVID-19 cases in Bulacan province dropped to 35 as of Tuesday, June 7, as several localities continued to register zero new infections in the past week, local health data showed.

The Provincial Health Office said 34 of the active COVID-19 cases were in home isolation. The remaining one was taken to a quarantine facility.

The active infections were in the towns of Angat (3), Bocaue (1), Calumpit (4), Guiguinto (1), Hagonoy (8), Marilao (2), Pandi (1), and Plaridel (1) and the cities of Malolos (7) and San Jose Del Monte (7).

Data also showed that 13 other towns and a city remained free of COVID-19.

Last week, the province’s active cases rose to 62.
