According to reports from SPD, the two suspects who were identified as Manpreet Signh alias ‘Ricky’, 22, and Mandeep Singh alias ‘Jimmy’, 33, declared a hold-up and robbed the victim last Sunday in Las Piñas City.
The victim said that he tried to resist but one of the suspects shot him in the lower back of his body, fleeing with the victim’s cash worth around P20,000. The two used a black Yamaha Sniper motorcycle.
After the victim sought the help of authorities in Las Piñas, police checked the closed-circuit television cameras along Guyabano Street and Marcos Alvarez Avenue, where the suspects were seen riding the said motorcycle. But after reaching the Las Piñas Medical Center, one of the suspects alighted and rode a taxi instead.
From there, police talked to several witnesses and tracked the two suspects.
