Security guard injured after hit-and-run incident in Mandaluyong

MANILA, Philippines — A security guard rendering traffic management duty in Mandaluyong suffered injuries after a hit-and-run incident, the City Police Station reported Monday.

The victim, identified as Christian Floralde, was assigned at the intersection of J. Vargas Avenue corner Saint Francis Street in Barangay Wack Wack of Mandaluyong City on Sunday.

While on duty, Floralde was hit by an unknown driver aboard a white Toyota RAV4 carrying plate number NCO 3781.

The victim sustained an abrasion on his left occipital area of the head and had difficulty breathing.

He was transported to VRP Hospital for medical assistance after ambulance service personnel responded to the incident.

The Land Transportation Office is currently verifying the plate number to identify the suspect.
