15 of Pampanga’s 21 localities free of COVID-19

MABALACAT CITY, Pampanga––Only the two component cities and four agricultural towns in this province have COVID-19 cases, leaving 15 areas free of the viral disease, the latest data from the provincial government showed.

As of May 31, the localities with active cases include this city (1), San Fernando (4), Porac (1), Apalit (1), Santa Ana (1), and Candaba (1).

Pampanga, composed of 19 towns and two component cities, has recorded 56,686 COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began in 2020.
Of these, 54,090 had recovered while 2,589 had died.

The highly urbanized Angeles City, which is independent of Pampanga, has five active cases as of May 30.

It has registered 14,698 COVID-19 cases since 2020, of which 14,151 had recovered and 542 had died.
