P81K shabu seized from 2 drug suspects in Rizal busts
LUCENA CITY –– More than P81,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) were seized on Monday, May 30, from two drug suspects in Cardona and Taytay towns in Rizal province.
The Calabarzon police reported Tuesday that anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested Rodgem Samson at 9:20 p.m. after he allegedly sold P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Sta. Ana in Taytay.
Police confiscated five sachets containing six grams of suspected shabu with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) value of P40,800.
Earlier, Cardona police drug enforcers also collared Jess Subida in another buy-bust operation in Barangay Looc. The suspect yielded three sachets of meth with an estimated DDB value of P40,528.
The two suspects will face separate criminal charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

The suspect yielded two sachets of shabu worth P4,488 in the street market. Authorities also found Armia carrying an undocumented caliber .38 gun.
The suspect was detained and faced charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and gun laws.
