2 drug suspects nabbed in Rizal buy-bust; P74k shabu seized

LUCENA CITY––Police on Thursday arrested two drug suspects in Binangonan town in Rizal province and seized more than P74,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation.

The Calabarzon police said in a report that suspects as Lorna Belison and Rolando de la Cruz were nabbed after they allegedly sold at 2:15 a.m. a pack of meth to an undercover cop in Barangay Darangan.

Authorities found the suspects with six sachets of shabu weighing 11 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P74,800.

Both suspects are under police custody and face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
