Drug suspect falls in Lucena buy-bust

LUCENA CITY––Anti-narcotics agents arrested a drug suspect in this city on Monday, May 23, and seized more than P53,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth).

Lt. Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, said Stephen Conrad Trapal, 33, was nabbed at 7 a.m. after he allegedly sold P500 worth of crystal meth to an undercover police officer in Barangay Ibabang Dupay.

The suspect yielded five sachets of shabu worth P54,080.

Police said the suspect, who was on their watch list, was an alleged member of the “Arguiñoso Drug Group.”

The suspect was detained and faced charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
