Doc Willie Ong votes in Makati City
MANILA, Philippines — Vice presidential candidate Dr. Willie Ong voted for the national and local elections on Monday in Makati City.
Ong, the running mate of presidential bet and Manila City Mayor Francisco “Isko Moreno” Domagoso, cast his ballot at the Dasmariñas Village Clubhouse at around 9 a.m.
Ong pledged for better public service, especially in matters related to health.
He earlier lamented the COVID-19 situation in the Philippines wherein face shields were given more priority than constructing health facilities.
If elected, Ong said he will push for the construction of 17 regional hospitals and three specialty hospitals across the country.

Moreno earlier said he needs a vice president who is a doctor to manage the COVID-19 pandemic.
