BULAKAN, Bulacan — Police arrested three men who were accused of raping a 48-year-old female village peacekeeper in this town, authorities said Tuesday.

Col. Charlie Cabradilla, Bulacan police provincial director, identified the suspects as Albrin Villanueva, 38; Jaymer Carmona, 37; and Joseph Andaya, 31, all residents of Barangay Talitptip, also in this town.

They were arrested on Monday, May 2, after their victim lodged a complaint with the police.

Investigation showed the victim and the suspects, including neighbors, had a drinking spree at around 4 p.m. on Sunday in front of the house of one of the suspects.

After being intoxicated, the victim fell asleep and woke up several hours later while being sexually abused by the suspects.

The victim managed to seek help from the police after regaining her strength, leading to the suspects’ arrest. INQ
