Bulacan teacher nabbed for rape, other raps

The policemen tagged in the rape and murder of a 15-year-old girl in Ilocos Sur have surrendered to authorities, the PNP said on Thursday.CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—Police on Monday arrested a 26-year-old teacher in Bocaue town, who was charged with rape, grave threat, and violation of cybercrime and anti-child abuse laws.

Col. Lawrence Cajipe, Bulacan police director, identified the suspect as Romulo Aguilar Jr., the most wanted person in the province.

Investigators said a minor female student had filed the charges against Aguilar, who is her teacher.

A local court that issued the warrant of arrest has not recommended bail for the suspect. INQ
