Around 3,000 supporters hold caravan for Marcos in Tacloban
TACLOBAN CITY — In what they considered as their “final push,” around 3,000 supporters of presidential candidate Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. conducted a caravan here on Sunday, May 1.
The caravan started at the Magsaysay Boulevard in Tacloban City and proceeded to Sta. Rita, Samar before returning to the city.
Sara Cabugway, regional secretary general of the Bongbong Marcos for President Movement, said they want to show the public of their strong desire to ensure the election of Marcos to the presidency.
“We are one and united in our desire to see Bongbong become our next president,” she said.
Boots Palconite, one of the organizers of the caravan, said similar activities were also held in Central and Western Visayas.
“This is a Visayas-wide synchronized caravan for BBM. This is a show of force among us BBM supporters and to encourage those who are still undecided to cast their votes in BBM’s favor,” she said.
