3 drug suspects fall in Lucena busts; P330K shabu seized
LUCENA CITY – Anti-narcotics operatives arrested three drug suspects in separate busts here on Tuesday, April 26, and seized more than P330,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth).
Police Colonel Joel Villanueva, Quezon police chief, reported that members of the police drug enforcement unit collared Rodrigo Hoyohoy, 28, after he allegedly sold P13,000 worth of shabu to a poseur buyer in a bust in Barangay (village) Market View around noon.
The suspect yielded three plastic sachets of shabu with a street value of P306,000.
The police also confiscated a motorcycle believed to have been used by the suspect in his illegal drug trade.
In another report, Police Lieutenant Colonel Reynaldo Reyes, Lucena police chief, said anti-illegal drugs operatives busted Efren Arcena, 49, and his elder brother, Antonio, 52, in another sting operation in Barangay Ibabang Dupay at around 7:22 p.m.

The three suspects were detained and will face charges of violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
