MANILA, Philippines — The armies of the Philippines and Indonesia have agreed to hold joint exercises in August aimed at enhancing interoperability and anti-terrorism capabilities.
The Philippine Army will host the Training Activity Brigade Combat Team 2022 from Aug. 1 to Aug. 5 this year, Col. Xerxes Trinidad, spokesperson for the Army, said on Sunday.
The training activities were finalized during a four-day planning conference with the Tentara Nasional Indonesia Angkatan Darat (Indonesian Army) in Manila last week.
