Widespread rain over Northern Luzon; hot, humid rest of PH — Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — Widespread rain is forecast in the northern parts of Luzon on Monday due to the shear line, while the other parts of the country will have warm and humid weather, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
(Luzon, the Cagayan Valley region, as well as Ilocos Norte, will still experience widespread rain with lightning and thunder due to the shear line.)
(The rest of Luzon will continue to experience hot and humid weather, still caused by the easterlies.)
The easterlies will also bring the same hot and humid weather conditions over the entire Mindanao and Visayas.

It has no direct effects on the country yet, but it is expected to enter PAR in the next several hours.
