2 drug suspects nabbed in Lucena; P390K ‘shabu’ seized
LUCENA CITY––Police arrested two drug suspects in this city and seized more than P390,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) in buy-bust operations Thursday and Friday.
Anti-illegal drug operatives collared Constantino Quijano, 40, after he sold at 12:16 a.m. Friday P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover cop in Barangay Ibabang Dupay, Lucena police chief Lt. Colonel Reynaldo Reyes said in a report.
Seized from the suspect were four sachets of shabu weighing 12.23 grams with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P83,164 and worth P249,492 in the street market.
The police said the suspect was a newly identified drug personality.
Police drug enforcers also busted Marissa Banatlao, 51, in another sting operation at 1:35 p.m. Thursday in the coastal village of Talao-Talao.
The police then seized eight sachets of a white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu worth P141,372.
