Seized from the two were approximately 7 grams of suspected shabu worth P47, 600.

The NCRPO also reported that following an operation held at Pulo Village, Brgy Talon 4, Las Piñas City, operatives of Las Piñas Police Station arrested three more suspects identified as Noel Magpili, 42, Kako Mohamad, 39, and Christian Cruz, 27.

Recovered from the suspects’ possession were three pieces of P100 bill used as buy-bust money and over 13.2 grams of suspected shabu with a street value of P89,760.

Concealed pieces of evidence were taken to the appropriate forensic unit for chemical analysis. At the same time, all apprehended suspects are held in the custody of their arresting units while charges for violation of Republic Act 9165, otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, are being readied against them, according to NCRPO.

Natividad also reminded the general public that the police authorities remain on the lookout regarding these criminal activities to ensure public safety.

“I commend our men on the ground for the continued fulfillment of their duties. Your police force remains on guard and we will never allow these lawless elements to continue their nefarious activity,” Natividad said.

“We will carry on to curb all forms of criminality as well as ensure the safety and protection of the public,” he added. – Jericho Zafra, INQUIRER.net intern
