ILIGAN CITY––The Lanao del Norte police has identified a person of interest in the March 17 killing of a woman radio announcer in Bacolod town.
Lt. Col. Salman Saad, public information officer of Lanao del Norte police, said the footage of a CCTV camera in a nearby establishment is a big help in the case investigation.
Audrey Gaid Estrada, 59, radio commentator of community radio in Bacolod, was found dead with stab wounds all over her body. She was declared dead on arrival at a nearby hospital.
Saad said the victim’s family had turned over the cellular phone Estrada for examination by the police’s Anti-Cybercrime Unit.
Maj. Mohammad Doro, Bacolod police chief, said a gadget was also submitted to the Anti-Cybercrime Unit for examination but did not give details.
