Radio announcer found dead in Lanao del Norte town
ILIGAN CITY––A radio announcer in Lanao del Norte was found dead Thursday morning, March 17, in her house in Barangay Poblacion, Bacolod town, Lanao del Norte.
Lt. Col. Salman Saad, information officer of Lanao del Norte police, identified the victim as Audrey Gaid Estrada, 59, widow, and commentator of the community radio, 101.3 Grace Covenant FM.
Saad said Bacolod police received a call around 6:45 a.m. from a concerned citizen informing them about a stabbing incident.
Responding police saw the victim lying on the second floor of her house. Family members carried her to a nearby community hospital, where she was declared dead on arrival.
A colleague of the victim, who requested not to be named, said Estrada was a radio commentator who handled two daily programs.

Saad said police were still investigating the crime.
