MANILA, Philippines — The operation of Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) will be suspended from April 13 to 17 to make way for annual maintenance during Holy Week, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on Wednesday.

DOTr said the MRT-3 would resume operations on April 18.

“MRT-3 operations will be suspended from April 13 to 17, 2022, to give way for its annual Holy Week maintenance shutdown. Normal operations will resume on April 18, 2022,” the DOTr announced in a Facebook post.

The public may take the carousel buses running along Epifanio de los Santos Avenue instead, the DOTr suggested.
