MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 6.4 earthquake jolted parts of Occidental Mindoro early Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
The tectonic quake with a 29-kilometer depth of focus struck 110 kilometers northwest of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro at 5:05 a.m.
Phivolcs warned that aftershocks may occur.
It was felt at Intensity III in Quezon City, Taguig City, Mandaluyong City and Makati City and Intensity II in Talisay, Batangas
Meanwhile, instrumental intensities were registered in the following areas:
