Magnitude 6.4 quake rocks Occidental Mindoro

MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 6.4 earthquake jolted parts of  Occidental Mindoro early Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.

The tectonic quake with a 29-kilometer depth of focus struck 110 kilometers northwest of Lubang, Occidental Mindoro at 5:05 a.m.

Phivolcs warned that  aftershocks may occur.
