Drug den operators, 2 others nabbed in Subic buy-bust

A woman accused of extorting money from police applicants was arrested in an entrapment operation on Friday afternoon.

SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Two brothers allegedly operating a drug den in Subic, Zambales were arrested with over P100,000 worth of shabu (crystal meth) in their possession, report said Saturday.

Reports from Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency showed that suspects Virgilio Paner, 58, and his brother Arvin, 52, were nabbed in a buy-bust operation around 8:50 p.m on Friday in the house they turned into a drug den in Barangay (village) Matain.

Also arrested were Richard Deloza, 38 and Christian Graciel Roseta, 33, who were caught in the act of sniffing shabu in the drug den.

Confiscated from them were five heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected shabu weighing more or less 15 grams worth P102,000, assorted drug paraphernalia and the buy-bust money.

The suspects are facing charges for violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
