Albanos, Dys of Isabela endorse Bongbong-Sara tandem

The political clans of the Albanos and Dys in Isabela province on Tuesday endorsed presidential candidate former Sen. Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and his running mate Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte.

Duterte visited the cities of Cauayan and Ilagan on Tuesday morning to court the almost 1 million voters in the province.

The President’s daughter first arrived in Cauayan City with Majority Leader Martin Romualdez, House Speaker Lord Allan Velasco and senatorial candidates Harry Roque, Gibo Teodoro and Mark Villar.Speaking to reporters, Isabela Gov. Rodito Albano thanked Duterte “for her gesture of traveling all the way from the south up just to visit our humble province.”In a separate interview, Isabela Vice Gov. Bodjie Dy assured Marcos and Duterte that they would win in the province.

“Mayor Inday Sara may have been born in the south, but Isabela is very much her territory, too. Isabela is [Marcos]-Sara territory,” Dy said. Albano and Dy are both stalwarts of President Duterte’s Partido Demokratiko Pilipino-Lakas ng Bayan.
