Gunmen kill truck driver in Benguet town

BAGUIO CITY — A truck driver was killed after unidentified gunmen shot him on Tuesday morning in Atok town, Benguet province, police said.
The victim was identified as Crisanto Pias Kiblasen, 27, a resident of Barangay Sadsadan in Bauko town, Mountain Province.
According to police, Kiblasen and his two companions were traversing the national road along KM. 8 in Barangay Caliking when a brown Toyota Innova blocked their way and forced them to stop.
Three armed men alighted from the vehicle and ordered the passengers of the truck to leave, investigators said, adding that one of the assailants then shot Kiblasen
Police said an investigation is underway to determine the motive behind the attack and identify the assailants. INQ
