According to David, the NCR may see pre-surge numbers by the end of February.

“Actuals are back below [January] 20 projections, which means prospects look good for less than 500 in the NCR by [Valentine’s] Day, and perhaps pre surge numbers by end of February,” he said on Twitter.

Before the surge of COVID-19 infections early this year, daily cases were posted below 1,000 cases in December last year.
