MANILA, Philippines — On her day of retirement, outgoing Commission on Elections (Comelec) Commissioner Rowena Guanzon on Wednesday became a victim of bogus food delivery orders delivered to her office.

Taking to Twitter, Guanzon said that police are now investigating the fake bookings maliciously placed on her account at the expense of the delivery riders.

“Since last night there are bogus food delivery orders to Comelec under my name,” Guanzon said.

“Ang sasama nila. Kawawa mga pobreng food riders,” Guanzon said in a separate post.

This development came on the heels of Guanzon’s row with fellow Commissioner Aimee Ferolino over her decision to reveal her vote in favor of disqualifying presidential aspirant Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. in the May 9 elections on the ground of moral turpitude for failure to pay his tax while he was governor of Ilocos Norte.

Guanzon was the presiding commissioner of the Comelec’s First Division, who handles the three consolidated disqualification cases against the former senator.

Ferolino, on the other had, is the designated writer, or ponente, of the decision. President Duterte’s appointee to the Comelec claimed that she was not yet ready to release her resolution as of Wednesday — Guanzon’s last day in office.

If Ferolino could not release her decision today, Guanzon’s vote to disqualify Marcos Jr. would no longer be counted.

Guanzon’s retirement ceremony is also set on Wednesday.

The feisty commissioner did not seem daunted, saying she will bow out of office fighting.

“Labanan ang mali, labanan ang masama!” she further said on Twitter.
