P400K ‘shabu’ seized from 5 suspects in Bulacan

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan––Authorities in this province raided an alleged drug den in this city and arrested five suspects who yielded illegal drugs worth P400,000 during a buy-bust operation on Saturday, Jan. 29.

Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) agents in Bulacan and local police arrested Arturo Trinos, 49; Norilyn Mariano, 43; Annalyn Dupra, 40; Sanny Bernardo, 45; and a 17-year-old suspect, all of Barangay Minuyan Proper in this city.

Police said they seized 12 sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) weighing about 50 grams, drug paraphernalia, and the marked money from the suspects.

Four suspects will be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, while the minor suspect will be turned over to social workers.
