CITE holds Foundation Day

THE two-day celebration of CITE’s 22nd Foundation Day anniversary on Feb. 14 and 15 spelled out fun and excitement for the students.

Activities started off with a Run for Scholars in the morning of Feb. 14.

Now on its third year, the Run for Scholars aimed to raise funds for the wellness program of the students.

The activity was sponsored by CITE Runners Club.

FEATURED STORIES

A Holy Mass was also celebrated before the start of other activities such as the annual quiz bowl, catequiz, inter-school oratorical and declamation contests, spelling bee, invitational basketball games, interdepartmental oration and extemporaneous speaking, skills olympics, dramatics presentation and open mic.

Sidelights of the event were club-sponsored activities, such as blogging contest, bingo for a cause, street-style basketball games and poster-making contest.

A live performance from local band Armour Breath capped the celebration.
