LRT-2 resumes full operations after technical glitches
MANILA, Philippines — Operations of the Light Rail Transit 2 were temporarily suspended on Friday morning but resumed shortly before 11 a.m., LRT – 2 management said.
The LRT-2 management announced that its operations were temporarily suspended past 9 a.m. due to a power failure and signaling issues.
As of 9:34 a.m., operations were limited from Antipolo to V. Mapa because of a signaling fault between V. Mapa to Recto.
Full operations have been resumed before 11 a.m.
“As of 10:50 AM, LRT-2 has resumed its full line operations. Train service is now available from Antipolo to Recto and vice versa. Thank you for bearing with us,” the LRT-2 said over Twitter.
