MANILA, Philippines — Authorities have confiscated P534 million worth of crystal meth, locally known as shabu, from two individuals arrested during Monday’s buy-bust operation in Mandaluyong City.
The operation was launched at a condominium at about 6 p.m. of December 27, by joint teams from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), Philippine National Police Drug Enforcement Agency, National Intelligence Coordinating Agency, and Armed Forces of the Philippines.
PDEA, in a report released on Wednesday, identified the arrested individuals as Mika Abac and Edison de Guzman.
PDEA said they confiscated 77.5 kilograms of shabu and various drug paraphernalia from the suspects.
