MANILA, Philippines — More than 1.1 million doses of the U.S.-made Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine were delivered to the Philippines on Monday night.
The government-procured doses, totaling 1,187,550, arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport Terminal 3 at around 9 p.m., according to a livestream of state-run PTV.
Earlier in the day, 587,800 doses of the U.S.-made Moderna COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines.
As of Dec. 22, a total of 45.2 million individuals in the Philippines have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.
