Rainy Tuesday for most parts of PH – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — A shear line and the northeast monsoon, or the “amihan” will bring overcast skies and rain in most parts of the country on Tuesday, said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
According to Pagasa weather specialist Ana Clauren, the “amihan” will bring light to moderate to at times heavy rain in the eastern section of Luzon particularly in Cagayan Valley, Aurora, Quezon, and Bicol Region.
“Samantala dito sa Metro Manila pati na rin sa nalalabing bahagi pa ng Luzon, generally fair weather condition na po tayo ngunit may tiyansa pa rin ng mga isolated light rains or yung mga pagambon dala po ng northeast monsoon,” Claured added.
(Meanwhile, Metro Manila as well as in the rest of Luzon will have generally fair weather conditions but there is still a chance of isolated light rains brought by the northeast monsoon.)
Eastern Visayas as well as the Eastern portion of Mindanao — Caraga and Davao Region — will also experience overcast skies and rain due to the shear line, said Clauren.
