4 Zambales towns log zero COVID-19 cases
SAN ANTONIO, Zambales — Four of the 13 towns of this province logged zero COVID-19 cases on Sunday, November 28.
Data from the provincial health office revealed that there were no active cases left in the towns of Subic, San Antonio, Palauig and San Felipe.
The active cases in the province are now down to 40 as only one new case was recorded; meanwhile, two patients have already recovered from the disease on Saturday, November 27.
Since the pandemic started, the province has logged 9,830 COVID-19 cases, 9,576 of which recovered and 600 died.
At least 212,232 residents in the province were vaccinated against the viral disease, 133,324 of which already received the complete dose of the vaccine.
The province needs to inoculate 70-percent of its 649,615 population to achieve herd immunity.
