Bohol cinemas, movie houses to re-open
TAGBILARAN CITY—For the first time since the pandemic began, cinemas and movie houses in Bohol are allowed to re-open Wednesday, Nov. 10.
Bohol is under Alert Level 2 which permits increased activities and capacity for dine-in restaurants, beauty salons, and other businesses and religious activities.
Screenville Cinemas of Island City Mall and Alturas Mall are among the eight theaters outside Metro Manila, which are allowed to resume operations.
The BQ Cinema also announced it would re-open its doors soon.
Cinemas in Cebu, Davao, Cagayan de Oro, and other cities in Visayas and Mindanao are not yet permitted to operate as of this writing.

Article continues after this advertisementEating is not allowed inside the cinema. A moviegoer must also observe physical distancing by sitting one seat apart.
As of Tuesday, Bohol has 150 active cases of COVID-19.
