MANILA, Philippines — Over two million more doses of Pfizer’s COVID-19 vaccine arrived in the Philippines Sunday night.
The 2,098,980 doses were donated by the United States through the COVAX Facility and arrived at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport.
As of October 28, the country has received a total of 100,528,240 COVID-19 vaccine doses.
62.67 million doses were procured by the government, 7.98 million doses purchased by the private sector and local government units, 24.33 million doses were sourced through the COVAX Facility, and 5.53 million doses were direct donations from other countries.
The government has so far administered a total of 59,134,236 vaccine doses as of October 30, based on the Department of Health records.
