Cloudy Friday in parts of N. Luzon due to Amihan; fair weather elsewhere in PH – Pagasa
MANILA, Philippines — The northeastern monsoon or the “Amihan season” will continue to bring cloudy skies and light rains over Cagayan Valley, Quezon Province and Bicol Region on Friday, while the rest of the country will have fair weather, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.
(Cagayan Valley Region, Aurora and Quezon will experience cloudy skies and light rains due to the prevailing Amihan.)
(Meanwhile, in other parts of Luzon, including Metro Manila, you will experience sunrise with partial cloudiness.)
The entire Visayas and Mindanao, meanwhile, will experience hotter and more humid weather on Friday. However, thunderstorms should be expected in the late afternoon and evening, especially in Mindanao, where severe thunderstorms are much more likely.
