2 fishermen rescued from capsized boat in Subic Bay

SUBIC BAY FREEPORT––Two fishermen were rescued in the waters of Subic Bay after their boat capsized Thursday, Oct. 7, authorities said.

In a statement, the Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority identified the two as Alvin Lagramada, 25, and Jeff Usam, 27, both of Barangay Calapacuan in Subic town.

Citing a report from its law enforcement department, the SBMA said the harbor patrol unit found the two drifting in the vicinity of Kalaklan point of Subic Bay.

The boat was later towed and taken to Harbor Marina for safekeeping, while the rescued men were transported back to their barangay. INQ
