Body found floating in Leyte river remains unidentified

ORMOC CITY — Authorities have yet to identify the body that was found floating in the Pagsangaan River on Friday, October 1.


Investigation showed that the body was found by a certain Harvey Capahi and his two friends while they were in the river catching some crabs.

Investigators said there was no foul play as the body has no wounds.


The Pagsangaan River stretches from Villaba, Leyte passing to Matag-ob and Kananga, Leyte before reaching the Ormoc Bay.
