Kalayaan Bridge closed until Sept. 30 for inauguration of BGC-Ortigas Link

MANILA, Philippines — Kalayaan Bridge, which connects Pasig and Makati, will be closed to traffic until September 30, the Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) said on Wednesday.

Based on MMDA’s traffic advisory, the Kalayaan Bridge will be shut from motorists starting this Wednesday until Thursday, 8 p.m.

Both directions from the cities of Pasig and Makati and vice versa will be affected.

The temporary closure is in line with the Department of Public Works and Highways’ scheduled inauguration of the Bonifacio Global City to Ortigas Road Link on Thursday.
