Comelec en banc ‘unanimously approves’ voter registration extension — Jimenez
MANILA, Philippines — The Commission on Elections’ (Comelec) en banc unanimously approved on Wednesday the extension of voter registration for the 2022 national elections, its spokesperson James Jimenez confirmed.

Jimenez said the voter registration period will now be from October 11 to 30. The deadline of registration was initially set on September 30.
The registration will temporarily stop when the filing of certificates of candidacy of aspiring candidates starts — October 1 to October 8 — and will resume from October 11 to 30.
