MANILA, Philippines — Low key bilateral exercises between the Philippines and the US Marine Corps officially kicked off on Tuesday with a contingent from the Japanese Ground Self-Defense Force (JGSDF) taking part as a third-party.

Marine commandant Maj. Gen.
